Our Grantmaking Programs
The Mobilize Power Fund (MPF) is a rapid response fund that resources gender justice organizations met with unanticipated, time-sensitive threats or opportunities in their movement building and organizing. Grants are available for up to $10,000 (or up to $20,000 for partnerships or coalitions of two or more groups) on a monthly basis. The MPF prioritizes youth-led and intergenerational groups, nonprofits, coalitions, and efforts in the U.S., regardless of 501(c)3 status or fiscal sponsorship.
The Sex Worker Giving Circle (SWGC) is a participatory fund that resources sex worker-led organizing and community building. Each year, community members participate in our Fellowship to make grants to groups led by and for sex workers directly impacted by oppression. Grants are available at two different levels: $15,000 and $25,000.
The Own Our Power Fund (OOPF) makes one and two-year capacity-building grants for projects that seek to increase the agency that communities have over their organizations by supporting leadership, sustainability, and self-representation. Grants are made at $25,000 per year for a two-year cycle.
The Disability Frontlines Fund (DFF) focuses on directly resourcing groups across the United States and Territories that centers and builds the leadership of Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) who identify as D/disabled, living with disabilities, D/deaf, hard of hearing, chronically sick/ill, neurodivergent, and/or mad, and who practice Disability Justice. The Disability Frontlines Fund is currently in a learning stage and is not accepting applications for funding. We worked with a small group of advisors to build our recommendations for our inaugural invite-only application process.
The Grow Power Fund (GPF) is a multi-year, long-term investment in emerging organizations who need general operating support, capacity-building resources, and organizational development coaching. Grants are made at $35,000 per year for a six-year cycle.
The Accountable Futures Fund (AFF) supports communities, organizations, and movements navigating conflict and harm in ways that decrease the power of carceral and state systems. AFF provides general operating support grants up to $21,000 to grassroots organizations who are developing the fields of transformative justice, restorative justice, and community accountability.
