Fortaleza Familiar

Fortaleza Familiar is dedicated to the wellness and safety of Indigenous Chicanx Latinx LGBTQ2Spirit+ young people and their families. Their mission is to organize Latinx youth through political education to connect with and reclaim the health of their body, mind, and spirit.

The Own Our Power Fund (2021-2023) is providing a two-year grant to invest in the foundation of their organizational structure to best support youth leaders and community members locally, and to grow their impact, voice, and support of other groups within the larger reproductive and gender justice movement.
