Dignity in Schools Campaign NY

The Dignity in Schools Campaign-New York (DSC-NY), is a citywide coalition of youth, parents, educators and advocates seeking to transform the climate of New York City public schools and create a system of school discipline and safety that is based on mutual respect and problem solving, not punishment and pushout. DSC-NY also worked with Sis and Non-Cis (SNC), a member organization that envisions a world where girls, women, and gender expansive people of color are safe, affirmed, and protected, with a focus on Housing Security, Public Safety, Education Justice, and Food Sovereignty.

The Mobilize Power Fund (April 2021) supported their healing after instances of harm and gender-based violence within their coalition.
