COVID Cautious Cookout organizes ongoing virtual meetings, mutual aid and forum spaces for Black folks across the United States who identify as being COVID Cautious.
The Mobilize Power Fund (October 2023) supported a partnership between The Black Trans Prayer Book, Liberation Medicine School, and COVID Cautious Cookout for a 3-Day Virtual Convening for COVID conscious BIPOC community members and a PPE Mutual Aid Fund. The Black Trans Prayer Book works to end violence against Black Trans People at the root causes through media, retreats, and educational tools. Liberation Medicine School builds decolonial, African-Indigenous, and autonomous health systems that fosters medical autonomy and critical scholarship within the diasporic Afro-TGNC community.
