Colectivo Intercultural TRANSgrediendo (Intercultural TRANSgressive Collective, or CITG) works to support the rights and well-being of trans Latinx people, many of whom do sex work, in Jackson Heights, Queens.
The Sex Worker Giving Circle (2019-2020) provided a two-year grant to support educational leadership workshops with the dual aim of increasing support for participants while also equipping the organization to move up in their capacity for member-led legislative advocacy.
The Mobilize Power Fund (April 2020) supported COVID-19 mutual aid by and for trans Latinx community, including sex workers.
The Sex Worker Giving Circle (2021-2022) provided a two-year grant to support the trans Latinx sex worker community in Queens through a long-term participatory leadership development program, with information, education, and outreach activities aimed at preventing and intervening in violence against trans sex workers.
The Mobilize Power Fund (October 2022) supported the creation of empowerment workshops for people to learn their rights, as well as healing and social justice workshops led by trans and Latinx sex workers.
