Black Sex Workers of Colorado advocates for policies rooted in collective community care and anti-violence and provides a variety of direct services to sex workers and trafficking victims, working in solidarity with other grassroots community organizations to improve public health, safety, wellness, and protections.
The Sex Worker Giving Circle (2022-2023) is providing a two-year grant to support the group in holding a series of teachings and trainings to incorporate the new safe reporting bill that was passed in Colorado, conducting a peer study to gauge the effects of the new law, and building out their programming and internal structure, which include their website, media toolkit, a mutual aid and bail fund for sex workers, and an annual stripper picnic.
