The Best Practices Policy Project is a national, sex worker-led organization dedicated to the advancement of the rights of people in the United States who engage in sex work in all its forms by providing mentoring, skills sharing, mutual aid, and supporting movement building amongst organizations led by sex workers.
The Sex Worker Giving Circle (2019-2020) provided a two-year grant to help formalize and expand their mentoring to strengthen the resilience and capacity of sex workers most affected by criminalization through a skill- and network-building initiative for 25 leaders and ongoing support for 10 people/groups.
The Mobilize Power Fund (April 2020) supported COVID-19 mutual aid by and for Black sex workers & trans communities.
The Sex Worker Giving Circle (2022-2023) is providing a two-year grant to support organizational leadership development and sex worker rights programming led by sex workers, including a mutual aid program, writing workshops, and campaigns to end the criminalization of sex workers.
