A Better Chance, A Better Community

A Better Chance, A Better Community is a queer, Black led organization providing resources and opportunities for the Town of Enfield and the entire Roanoke Valley Area. Their main purpose is to offer alternative educational supplements for at-risk students and students with special needs, after-school opportunities, and leadership/self-esteem building in a community center setting.

The Mobilize Power Fund (March 2021) supported their Northeast North Carolina Resiliency Hub, mobilizing young people around climate justice and its impact on rural communities.
