Through a year-long partnership with Casa Blue, a woman and POC-owned design firm based in Chicago, IL, we worked diligently together to ensure that our new logo and platform reflects our growth, values, and relentless dedication to responsive grantmaking. Here are some of our biggest highlights:

Refreshing Our Look & Feel

As we embark on another exciting leadership transition, we see this moment as a perfect opportunity to usher our journey of transformation with a fresh visual identity. We now have a fresh logo, sublogos for each grantmaking program created by Casa Blue’s design team, and new bold artwork on our home page by queer and trans artist of color, Grae Rosa.

Strengthening Accessibility

Our new website features increased overall accessibility measures, including more efficient flows of information for grantmaking opportunities, a plugin that makes accessibility modifications based on a user's individual needs, and increased Spanish language content to better reach all of our audiences.

Shining a Spotlight on Grantees 

Prospective organizations seeking funding opportunities are a core audience for us. Our new website enhances the visibility of our current grantees, providing a comprehensive view of their journey with us. These grantee spotlights are accessible through our Grantees page or at the bottom of each grantmaking program page. 

Highlighting 25+ Years at Third Wave
Staying connected with our roots is crucial. This engaging presentation on our new History page allows us to showcase some of our milestones and significant moments since 1992, and the ability to easily continue archiving our biggest moments.
