Rachel Caïdor

Program Officer, Grow Power Fund & Own Our Power Fund

Rachel (she/her) is a queer Haitian-American, Floridian, abolitionist feminist who has worked for over two decades supporting survivors of domestic, sexual, and state violence. Rachel's movement work focuses on supporting survivors criminalized for defending themselves against gender based and/or state violence. She also supports practitioners building responses to gender-based violence that do not rely on existing criminal legal systems and social services that are not rooted in carceral feminism. As the Program Officer for both the Grow Power Fund and Own Our Power Fund, Rachel hopes to resource BIPOC youth-led movement groups as they organize for liberation, abundance, and joy. Rachel lives and works in Chicago.

Rachel is not pictured. There is a place holder image that is a collage of the five fund logos: a green illustration of a leaf (DFF logo), two blue interlocking half circles (MPF logo), a yellow triangle (AFF logo), two red semicircle lines, one within the other (GPF logo), and a pink flower-like shape with four sides (SWGC logo).
