Empowering Transgender Services Inc. provides resources to empower all transgender, nonbinary, gender non-conforming individuals to improve their overall quality of life. Their work includes support for experiences of violence, housing instability, and mental health among transgender individuals in the Hampton Roads community.
The Mobilize Power Fund (October 2021) supported mutual aid among incarcerated transgender individuals, including mentorship after release, and a retreat for/by young trans people to repair relationships among young trans people and their families of origin.
